Opinia gości: Interesting building - a 17th C nunnery that later was used as a military base and is now a really excellent hotel. Our bedroom was large, quiet and with comfy bed. The heated indoor pool - part of a gym and spa complex- was much enjoyed! The hotel is inside the old town, just a short walk from the castle and for us as Brits the English cemetery was a fascinating insight to the 1811/12 battles led by Wellington. We loved Elvas!

Opinia gości: A very interesting convent in lovely countryside. We could explore the historic building. We were here in November so didn’t get chance to use the swimming pool but that looked worth coming back for. There are a couple of great walks laid out in the Convent estate. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room and breakfast were excellent, staff very helpful. We have already recommended it to friends who also travel in the area.

Opinia gości: The location , the pool, the whole area is great and big and green and super calm . So nice for family with kids. It’s dated and would be good to get money for renovation but it’s so clean and very well taken care of !!! So close to highway and the city you just need car. Definitely coming back. It even has air conditioning in each room
