Avis des voyageurs: Hotel La Gemma is truly a gem in the heart of Florence. The boutique hotel has all the amenities of a well-seasoned luxury hotel but their attention to their guests feels like the hotel exists for just you. It’s gorgeous, luxurious and peaceful. Their playful interior design is absolutely lovely and I appreciated their clever choice in using colors that honor their incredible cathedral, duomo, belltower, baptistery. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect and their genuine care for guests to enjoy their stay is noticed. We enjoyed having drinks every evening at their bar where the bartender is very skilled and personable. The rooms are comfortable, peaceful and roomy. Their beds/bedding are excellent and their AC was such a respite from the hot summer weather. And the location is perfect. Tucked away off a main tourist arterial allowed for a feeling of privacy and calmness. Hotel La Gemma will be our choice in hotels whenever we visit Florence.
