Gästebewertung: The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The location is super, and we walked to all downtown bars and events. We loved the sauna. The restaurant is very good.

Gästebewertung: Perched at the top of a tall hill, the hotel’s location is magical, with views reaching out over thickly forested rolling hills and a sparkling river. The staff are lovely and friendly, they greet you with a smile as soon as you walk into the stunning reception area filled with comfy chairs and a crackling fire. We visited in the summer, so spent lots of time walking the forest trails and tracks that are ski slopes in the winter. Our room was fantastic: spacious, clean and luxurious. We used the sauna lots. Every night after walking in the forest all day, we slept soundly in super soft beds. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, with everything you could possible want and then some. The finishing touch; a whole fresh honeycomb.

Our airport transfer made late-night check-in smooth, helping us find the key and guiding us to the hotel at 2 AM in Rovaniemi. Great service! Getting to the hotel with Uber costs €60, worth it in slippery weather. A bus (around €6) is a cheaper option, but check the schedule as it runs infrequently.

Gästebewertung: The place is as astonishing as the pictures show. The sauna with the many options of therapeutic oils to add is great after a day out in the cold or sport activities. The family was just great, as nice and helpful as someone can imagine. If I would have known that the place was so well connected by car, I would have stayed there many more days.
