Gästebewertung: The location was simply perfect—right in front of the ocean. For its stunning setting, warm hospitality, and great value for money, I’d give Tranquil Nest Vaavu 11/10. True to its name, this place truly delivers tranquility at a budget-friendly price. The property sits right on the beach, with plenty of areas to swim and snorkel comfortably. At certain times of the day, you can even spot stingrays and other ocean creatures while swimming or just standing on shore. My room was spacious, complete with a veranda overlooking the blue waters. I even got to fly my drone during my stay, and the island itself had a quiet yet welcoming Maldivian community that made the experience even more special. Wi-Fi was available and generally stable within the premises, which was convenient for coworking. The signal was weaker once outside the restaurant area, but overall it worked fine. The property also offered several tours and activities that could be arranged in advance with the staff. One tip: don’t attempt to arrange transfers on your own. Another guest had to endure a 7-hour shared boat ride with multiple stops, while in my case the staff secured a direct speedboat transfer via ProJets Ferry Service, which was smooth and on time. What truly made my stay unforgettable, though, was the hospitality of the staff. Special thanks to Hattu, based in Malé, who made sure my transfer went seamlessly, and to Acho/Shifan, who was always ready to help with anything I needed. From providing a plug converter and extra batteries to even stepping in with his own drone when mine malfunctioned—he went above and beyond, capturing amazing aerial shots and videos of my Bodumohora beach tour and island stay that I’ll treasure.
